Welcome back! As you can tell, we took the week off last week to stuff our faces full of turkey and dressing. We hope your Thanksgiving was great! We're glad to be back and playing some of the best Trop Rock in the country! I just checked the weather report and it shows the Key West is gonna be sunny and in the upper 70s all weekend. I'm jealous, we're looking at some gloomy weather headed this way. It'll be good weather to stay inside and put on a record or 2, or 6.

On to the Music!

1. My Kinda Day On Padre - Larry Joe Taylor

2. Carry Me Home - Sand Dollar Rodeo

3. Coastal Cowboy - John Friday

4. My Little Island Town - Key West Chris

5. Jimmy Buffett Music - The Island Fever Band

6. Parrotheads in Cowboy Boots - J Michael Laferty

7. Callin' In Gone - Jim Hoehn

8. Nobody From Nowhere - Jimmy Buffett

9. Somewhere South Of Somewhere - Eric Stone

10. Harbor Lights - Don Middlebrook & Living Soul

11. Walk On the Gulf - Billy Mitchell

12. Waiting For Jimmy - Rob Mehl

It feels like forever since I've been able to play you some music! These holidays get in the way of my trop-rockin". Yes, I just made that a verb. I verbed it. Kicking off the show tonight, I've got an homage to the wonderful place called South Padre Island, "My Kinda Day on Padre" by Larry Joe Taylor. After that is "Carry Me Home" by Sand Dollar Rodeo and "Coastal Cowboy" by John Friday. Up next is a GCC regular, Key West Chris with "My Little Island Town". Up next is a band all the way from Baton Rouge, Lousiana, the Island Fever Band with "Jimmy Buffett Music". Following that, we've got J Michael Laferty with "Parrotheads in Cowboy Boots" then "Callin' In Gone" by Jim Hoehn. What GCC episode would be complete without at least 1 song from the King of Kings? "Nobody From Nowhere" by Jimmy is up next, followed by Eric Stone with "Somewhere South of Somewhere". Another GCC regular, Don Middlebrook & Living Soul is next with "Harbor Lights". Closing out the show tonight is Billy Mitchell with "Walk on the Gulf" and Rob Mehl with "Waiting for Jimmy".

This years Trop Rock Music Association Awards have been announced, go have a look! Do you feel that KBEC's Gulf Coast Cowboy should be recognized? We do too. Let's get KBEC nominated next year for the awards!
