Hello and welcome back everyone! This week we are touring the Islands! Which ones? Well we’re not real sure, but as many as this hour can take us to! Gulf Coast Cowboy Hour is ready to board, bringing you the music and the feeling of our beautiful Gulf Coast! So come on down, grab a drink, grab a chair and get comfortable, it’s going to be a nice ride! This week we have a collection of songs about the islands and the Gulf, from the best beach goers of the day, so pick one you like and let it take you away!

We start off with Rob Mehl and his song “Walk on The Beach ". After 8 albums and countless miles playing his music all over the world, Rob is still bringing his audience a friendly, feel good show he refers to as "splashin' the passion!" Kelly McGuire stops in again with his song "Island State of Mind". He currently resides in an area near Galveston Bay and many of his songs reflect the Gulf. Don Poobah Mealer sings "Peach Moonshine Margarita” for us. Gary Seiler shows us how to go casual with “Flip-Flops Required”. He quit his day job to center his attention to the island way of life. Howard Livingston & Mile Marker 24 directs the tour to “Where Bananas Grow” and is followed by James Slater and his “Barefoot Princess”. Jim Morris stops by with “Land of No Mondays ". He mixes a whimsical island sound with a splash of Texas to produce a sound that is uniquely Gulf and Western.

Brandon Rhyder smash “In the Country” Joe Bennett returns with “I Need a Beach”. Loren Davidson explains addiction in “Key West Habit”. Jose Latour slides in next with “Sunny Disposition " and Jimi Pappas makes an appearance in "Blue Water". And we end our Island retreat with Key West “Come Down to Paradise ".
