Pat Green appears for his turn here on the Live in Texas! we'll be going over his album, Live At Billy Bob's Texas. So sit back, relax and let that soothing Texas sound take you for a joy ride!

Pat Green was born in San Antonio, and raised in Waco, Texas. Not to far from us in Ellis County, eh? He started playing music at the age of 18 at Texas Tech, playing in bars and clubs in that area. It was in 1995 that he caught a break, independently recording and releasing small albums. He began to serious produce music in 1997, where he caught the attention of Willie Nelson and joined a tour. His appearance with Willie Nelson in 1998 was the shove into the spotlight that eventually started his nationwide recognition. All this without even signing to a major label recoding contract. Talk about a joyride!

 

After that his life has been that of a country singer, traveling and singing with no sign of stopping. After signing, his first major label album was Three Days, released in 2001. His first top charting song was "Wave on Wave", reaching #3. He has joined many country music artist on tours such as Keith Urban, Gretchen Wilson and Kenny Chesney.
