It's that time of year - once again, Waxajam is here!

This year will be the 10th annual Waxajam.

Waxajam is an annual all-day music festival right here in Waxahachie that honors numerous musicians that have been part of our local music scene over the years.  Held the Saturday after the Waxahachie High School Homecoming Football game, Waxajam is a Waxahachie tradition that started in 2002.  The music begins at 12:30 PM and goes all the way until midnight.  This year's Waxajam will take place on Saturday, October 20th.
Admission into Waxajam is only $10 and it will be located in the Optimist Youth Center at 219 Patrick Street!  The proceeds from this event always goes to a non-profit charitable organization, and this year is no different with all the proceeds going to the folks at the Campfire Creek Theraputic Riding Center.

The line-up this year includes:

  • 12:30 PM - Calamity Janes
  • 1:00 PM - Larry White's Casa Blanca Combo Jam
  • 2:00 PM - Tex Effex
  • 2:30 PM - Beauman Brothers
  • 3:30 PM - The Electric Scunge
  • 4:00 PM - August Heat
  • 5:00 PM - Artanis
  • 6:00 PM - Roy McPherson's Jam
  • 6:30 PM - The Heard
  • 7:30 PM - The Techniques
  • 8:15 PM - The High Lifes
  • 10:15 - Sausage Jam
  • 11:15 - All Star Jam

KBEC 1390 will be proudly broadcasting the music of Waxajam live starting at 7 PM.  We still want everyone to come out and join us!  This event only happens once a year and you don't want to miss it.  For more information on Waxajam, visit  See you there!
