  12. I Will Play for Gumbo / Jimmy Buffett
  13. Toes / Zac Brown Band

We'll be hitting the beach this week with a Brent Burns song aptly named "Hit the Beach".  This great tune from the Musical Ambassador of Gulf Shores, Alabama, comes from his Margarita Smile album.

"Chevy Van" is a Jimi Pappas ditty we've played a time or two in the past.  It can be found on his Hello Mr. Sunshine CD.

We've played a few different versions of the Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young hit "Southern Cross" over the months, but this is the first time we've played the Jimmy Buffett version.  Enjoy!

Here's a fantastic song from Mark Mulligan's Greetings from Mulligan's Island, "Sand Dollar Millionaire"!

Florida-based Pete Harris gives us "Pour Me a Vacation" on his Convertible Days CD.

"A Pirate Looks at Forty" was originally one of Jimmy Buffett's greatest hits, but this Roger Creager cover certainly does it justice!

We have something new for all of our fans this week: "I Wanna Touch the Sun" from Sonny Russell's Caribbilly for Connoisseurs.

From his fantastic KISS album, Sunny Jim proudly brings us "By the Coconuts".

We have a song from Thom Shepherd's difficult-to-spell Tropicalifragilisticexpialidocious CD this week: "Painting Coconuts in Paradise".

Keeping on our coconut theme, here is "Coconuts" by Larry Joe Taylor!

Billy Mitchell included "Gumbo Beach" as the title track of his 2004 album.

Here is another fantastic gumbo song: "I Will Play for Gumbo" by Jimmy Buffett!

Wrapping things up for this week is a tune we know very well by now, "Toes" from the Zac Brown Band!

That's the show for the week!  As always, join us every Wednesday night starting at 7 o'clock for an hour of the best in Trop Rock and Gulf Coast Music - only on KBEC 1390!
