Joe Bennett's "Sliding Down to Mexico" is going to get the ball rolling this week.  The Head Pirate himself included this song on his Fifty Dollar Treasure Map album.

"Blame It On Buffett" is one of our favorite tunes from Kelly McGuire's award-winning Boat in Belize CD.  Make a trip over to Redfish Island if you're like us and can't get enough Kelly!

Nadirah Shakoor is famous for a lot of things, but for us it doesn't get better than "Creola"!

"What Happens in Key West" is the title track of the Tapwater Conchs' most recent album.  Dan, Dennis, and friends always know how to make some great music!

From his award-winning Ragtops and Flipflops CD comes one of our favorite Brent Burns tunes, "Drunk Tourist".

Frankie Ford, who's new to our show, is the Grammy-winning Dynamo of New Orleans and brought us "Sea Cruise"!  If you like flashy websites straight out of the 90s, we suggest you spend some time at his.

Here are the Bois d'Arcs and "Backroads of Texas" from their self-titled album.  Straight out of Muenster, Texas, these guys keep the Trop Rock spirit alive near the Red River!

"Callin' In Gone" from the Boat Drunks really captures the spirit of Gulf Coast Music.

Dennis Davis, who went native down on the Texas Gulf Coast, brings us "Something to Beach About" on his Tropic of Texas CD.

"Harbor Lights" is a song from Don Middlebrook and Living Soul, who just happened to wrap up their "International Dress for Peace Day"!  This great song can be found on their Welcome to the Planet album.

Another song from his excellent Journey Around the Sun, "Down in Paradise" is another song by Mark Mulligan that we can't get enough of!

Our man Hugo Duarte comes straight from Hillbilly Beach!  He and his Full Sail Band included this song on their Live in Key West album.  What a perfect send off for this week's show, right?  As always, catch The Gulf Coast Cowboy Hour every Thursday evening starting at 7 PM - only on KBEC 1390!
