This week we will be kicking off the show with back to back Buffett songs!  "He Went to Paris" can be found on the 1973 A White Sport Coat and a Pink Crustacean record and "Love and Luck" can be found on the 1992 Boats, Beaches, Bars, & Ballads one.

Next we are featuring Johnny Rodriguez and "Down on the Rio Grande".  Rodriguez, one of the biggest male solo artists in country music throughout the '70s and '80s, released this song on his 1979 Rodriguez record.

From their Amigos Out at Sea CD, "Senoritas & Margaritas" is a great showcase of the sound of Johnny Russler & The Beach Bum Band.

John Frinzi is a Florida-based singer/songwriter that is becoming a big part of the Trop Rock scene.  Go find a copy of his 2009 Shoreline CD if you like "Paradise, Quickly"!

We don't know much about John Reno & the Half-Fast Creekers, but we do know that we like this song of theirs we found: "I Lobster But Never Flounder".  Let us know what you think!

Jim Asbell and the Tropiholics Band is another great Trop Rock group from the southeastern US.  "Tropiholics" is the title track of their 2007 debut album.

Here's a song that's new to the program: Jim Morris's "Another Day at the Office".  This one can be found on the album of the same name from 2007.  This is another tune we want to know if you like!

"Let It...  Slip Away" is something we've played from Jimi Pappas a few times in the past - and we like it so much we plan on playing it again this week!  Go get a copy of his 2009 This Trip album if you find you like his style.

"Ocean Waves" is song brought to us by Jimmy Parish and the Ocean Waves Band.  It's on their Let's Go Fishin' album.

Sky Sand Water Moon is where you can find Sunny Jim's "Rum Jumbies".  You can also find it on his The Request Lines Are Open: Greatest Hits Volume 1 CD!

We have another Jim Morris song in the lineup for this week: "Tropical Depression" from the Looking for a Place to Happen album!

Closing us out this week is the same man who started us off: Jimmy Buffett!  "A Pirate Looks at Forty" is one of his most beloved songs and you can find it on the Songs You Know By Heart CD!

That's the show this week.  As always, join us Wednesday evenings at 7 o'clock for the best in Trop Rock and Gulf Coast Music - only on KBEC 1390!
