The Waxahachie High School Baseball Team has made it to the fourth round of the playoffs!  Congratulations! More details below.

Congratulations to the Waxahachie Indians!

The Waxahachie Indians placed third in District 15 4-A and defeated the second place team from District 16 4-A, the Bryan Rudder Rangers from Bryan, TX.  They then conquered the Longview Pine Tree Pirates in a winner-takes-all playoff game the following week.  Next, they won an exciting victory over the Corsicana Tigers.  They will now play the Frisco Wakeland Wolverines.  The first game will take place at Richards Park in Waxahachie at 7:30 PM on Thursday, May 24th.  A second game will be played at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 26th, at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco.  A third game, if necessary, will take place at 5:00 PM later that afternoon at Dr Pepper Ballpark.

The Thursday game will preempt our regularly scheduled episode of Jon Garrett's Live in Texas.  That show will be postponed until the following week.  On Saturday, Life and Money Matters will take place at 1:00 PM instead of its regular spot at 2:00 PM.  If any further programming changes are needed, we will let everyone know!  We thank our listeners for their patience.  Remember - if you can't be at or listen to these games, join us on the KBEC Facebook page or on Twitter to get live updates!
