We've got a good mix for all of our listeners this week!

This week, the new music we're adding is something of a mixed bag.  First up, we've got three tunes from the 2005 Put the "O" Back in Country album by Shooter Jennings.  The son of country legend Waylon Jennings, this guy is well on his way to becoming a household name in his own right.  Next, we're featuring (by request) a single from the Texas Tornados.  The tune is on the 1996 4 Aces album.  Wrapping things up this week is a great Merle Haggard song performed by the one and only George Strait.  The version we're playing is from the 2005 Somewhere Down in Texas album.  Here are the names of everything we're adding this week:

  • "Put the "O" Back in Country - Shooter Jennings
  • "Southern Comfort" - Shooter Jennings
  • "Steady at the Wheel" - Shooter Jennings
  • "Little Bit is Better than Nada" - Texas Tornados
  • "Seashores of Old Mexico" - George Strait

Every Friday, we will be adding a few new songs to the KBEC rotation.  You can hear our choices for the week on the Afternoon Drive.  If you have any comments or suggestions on who we should or shouldn't add, feel free to drop us an e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
