The Bart Crow Band is a local group that's making waves nationwide.

The Bart Crow Band hails from Austin, TX.

Bart Crow grew up in Maypearl, TX, just down the road from KBEC studios.  He served in the US Army after graduating high school and started writing music during his downtime.  With Matt Slagle of Austin on bass, David Fralin of Lubbock on keyboard, Drew Campbell of San Marcos on drums, and Paul Russell of Waxahachie on lead guitar, Crow created the first version of the Bart Crow Band in 2005 and released their first album Finally. The album sold thousands of copies locally and was nominated for the My Texas Music Awards Album of the Year award.

Bart Crow is the lead vocalist of the group.

The second album, Desperate Hearts, came out in 2008.  Two of the songs from the CD, "Back Down" and "Understand", topped the Texas Music Charts.  A third album, Heartworn Tragedy, would be released the following year and would have two more #1 hit songs: "Saying Goodbye" and "Run with the Devil".  By this point, the Bart Crow Band was constantly touring at over 200 shows a year.

The Bart Crow Band is currently touring across Texas and the Midwest.

The latest Bart Crow Band album, Brewster Street Live, was released in the spring of 2011.  Our boys are currently touring around Texas and working on new material.  With some luck, maybe we can catch them the next time they're in the area and get them on the show!  A new album titled Dandelion was released in the fall of 2012.  You can find more at their website here.
